Who doesn't love Pork Chops drenched in Fritos, You could dip dirt in Fritos and it would taste good.

Follow up:

The best part is that there are different flavors of Frito's like Chili Cheese, barbeque or flamin hot that add a little kick.

And if you want a double dose of perfection you could also serve Fried Fritos Zucchini and your family would love forever or at least until your next meal.

Ingredients:

1 Brown Egg
1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
Juice from 1 Lemon
4 Cups Fritos
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
1/2 tsp Dry Mustard
2 Cups Flour
1 Cup Colby Jack Cheese
2 Pounds Thin Cut Pork Chops
1/2 Stick Butter
1 Ziploc Bag
Pam Cooking Spray

1. Put Fritos in a Large Ziploc Bag.

  • Beat with a mallet until crushed, you can also use a rolling pin if you don't have a mallet.
  • The bag keeps the crumbs from flying everywhere, so be sure to close it before crushing.

2. Mix together Flour, Colby Jack Cheese, Salt, Pepper, Dry Mustard and Fritos in a large Mixing Bowl.

  • Set Aside.

3. Mix together Egg, Heavy Cream and Lemon in a medium size bowl.

  • Beat with a whisk until frothy.
  • Set Aside.

4. Put the Pork Chops onto a cutting board and trim all of the fat off.

5. Spray a Large Baking Dish with Cooking Spray.

  • Set Pork Chops, Flour and Egg Mixture by the Pan to make it easy for dipping.

6. Dip the Pork Chop into the Egg Mixture.

  • Then dip into the Flour Mixture, coating both sides.

6. Now do it all over again

  • Dip the Pork Chop into the Egg Mixture again.
  • Then the Flour Mixture.
  • This gives it a double coating that sticks to the pork and the breading won't fall off during baking.
  • Put each Pork Chop into your Baking Dish.
  • Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

7. Melt Butter in a small bowl in the Microwave.

  • Spoon butter over each Pork Chop and bake for 5 more minutes.
  • This makes it crispy.

9. Remove from oven and cool.

  • Put on a plate and enjoy!
