Cherry Cheese Danish, Need I Say More!
These are the perfect size to just pop in your mouth; they're like little slidersI love cheese Danish.
Actually I Love Cream Cheese.
Let me rephrase that I love the entire Cheese Family. I think I've mentioned this once or twice or a thousand times before.
Follow up:
I also Love Cherries, in my house we have Cherry flavored Soda in every brand and if that's not enough I also have Grenadine to add to your Soda just in case I buy plain Pepsi and have to turn it into Cherry Pepsi.
I still remember in Junior High when they came out with Cherry Pepsi it was like Angels Singing and I have been a true follower ever since.
The only thing better is a Vanilla Dr. Pepper from Sonic.
With that being said I decided to add Cherries to my Cheese Danish and the combination is heavenly.
Now if only I could come up with a way to eat them all day long without my butt doubling in size.
1/2 Cup Milk Scalded
1/2 Cup Water
1 Package of Yeast
1/3 Cup Sugar
1/3 Cup Butter
1 tsp Salt
1 Brown Egg
3 1/2 Cups Flour
Toothpicks
Pam Cooking Spray
16 oz Cream Cheese Softened
1/2 Cup Sugar
6 Tbsp Flour
2 Brown Egg Yolks
2 tsp Lemmon Juice
1 Cup Powdered Sugar
1 Can Cherry Pie Filling
1 to 2 tbsp Whole Milk
1. I use the Dough Cycle on my Bread Maker when making Bread.

2. First you need to Scald your Milk.

3. Add Milk, Water and Butter that has been cut into slices into the Bread Machine Pan.

4. Beat Eggs in a bowl until frothy.

5. Add Flour, Salt and Sugar on top of the wet ingredients.

6. Close the lid on your Bread Machine and set it on the Dough Cycle.

7. Once the dough is done it should have risen to the top.

8. Remove dough from the Bread Machine and put onto lightly floured surface.

9. Separate Dough into three equal balls.

10. Roll one of your Dough balls out with a lightly floured Rolling Pin.

11. Cut Dough into 3 inch squares with a Pizza Cutter.

1. Mix Cream Cheese in your Mixer until Creamy.

2. Add Egg Yolks, Sugar, Flour and Lemon Juice and mix until creamy.

3. Add a spoonful of Filling to each of the Dough Squares.

4. Pinch two of the opposite corners together.

5. Then pinch the other two corners together to form a pouch.

6. Get out some toothpicks and break them in half.

7. Put Your Danish into a Large Greased Metal Pan

8. Cover with a Pastry Towel and let rise until doubled in size for about 1 hour.

9. Spoon a tablespoon of Cherry Pie Filling on the top of each Danish.

1. Mix Powdered Sugar and Milk together in a bowl.

2. Once Danish are cool drizzle the Glaze over the top with a spoon.
