Micah came home from working talking about Chicken Fried Hamburgers.
One of his coworkers had them for lunch and he was raving about how great they looked and smelled and could I please make some.
Follow up:
So I ask; What do the look like?
Umm, like Chicken Fried Hamburgers!
What's in Them?
I don't know it's like chicken Fried Steak, but a hamburger!
I figured that you can fry the Hamburgers just like you do Chicken Fried Steak. You just can’t go wrong battering and frying Meat at our house.
So I fried some up for dinner and let me tell you I think that I might even like these better than Chicken Fried Steak. The breading is crispy and when you add on the dipping sauce, perfection!
2 Lbs. Ground Sirloin
3 Cups Flour
1/4 Cup Cabela's Open Season Whiskey Steak Seasoning
1/4 tsp Pepper
1 Tbsp. Paprika
3 Large Brown Eggs
1/2 Cup Whole Milk
6 Slices Swiss Cheese
1 Package Oroweat Sandwich Thins
French Fry Dipping Sauce
Canola Cooking Oil
1. Mix together Flour, Pepper, Paprika and Whiskey Steak Seasoning in a Medium size bowl.

2. Mix together Milk and Eggs in a medium size bowl.

3. Make Sirloin into 6 medium size patties.

4. Set your bowl of Egg Mixture and bowl of Flour Mixture side by side
Now do it all over again
5. Put the battered Hamburgers into the Hot Skillet.
6. Fry the Burgers on each side for about 5 minutes or until browned.
7. While your Burgers are cooking get a large Plate and put 6 or 7 Paper Towels on the top and set by the Skillet.
8. Put your Sandwich Thins on a plate. I like these because they taste great without all of the extra bread.
9. Spread a thick layer of French Fry Sauce on each half of the Bun.
