Wednesday Night...Hello TIVO.

One of my new Favorite T.V. Shows is on tonight; Eastwick.

I have just fallen in Love with this show and the town that they live in Eastwick, it's just so cute. Not to big, not to small, It's Just Right. I find myself wanting to live in a little house next to Roxie, and open up a shop downtown filled with Cupcakes, of course. But then I realize this is only a T.V set in California and doesn't really exist.

Follow up:

So then I started thinking about what Fictional Town I would want to live in; So here's my list; based on small town charm, solitude, and plenty of space to roam.

Men In Trees

Who wouldn't love to live in the mythical town of Elmo Alaska? The filming actually took place in Squamish, British Columbia population 14,949. Only one bar/restaurant and you have a little house in the woods. Cozy!

Northern Exposure

Another Alaskan town, this one took place in the fictional town of Cicely Alaska; or as I like to call it Roslyn, Washington. What's the deal are all Alaskan Shows taped in other States? Is Alaska too cold and the lenses freeze? It's still holds a place in my heart.

The Movie Funny Farm

Ahh! The American Dream; To buy house in the sleepy town of Redbud, Vermont and write a novel. This was actually filmed in Vermont, three different cities; Grafton, Townsend and Windsor. I guess it takes three different places to equal one great one.

The Movie Doc Hollywood

Now who wouldn't want to live in Grady, South Carolina full of Southern Hospitality, and can my name please be Vialula. This is filmed in Alachua County Florida. My heart skips a beat when they're dancing at the Squash Festival, it's magical.

The Movie Groundhog Day

Where everyday is the same in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. This movie is filmed in Woodstock, Illinois; I could live the same day over and over in this quaint town, but I would need to pick the day.

And then I settle back and realize that I already live in the best place of all... Home!
