The day has finally arrived!
I was finnaly going to get a copy tof The Pioneer Woman Cooks Signed by Ree. Be sure to check out her sight I'm in LOVE with it The Pioneer Woman
We decided to drive down to Borders at 10:00 a.m. to buy the book and get a wristband that tells you when you can get in line to have your cookbook signed. I got a red wristband which means I was in the 2nd block of 100 people, sweet.

Follow up:
The day seemed to drag, but finally it was time, we arrived at Borders around 5:00.
This is where Ree will be signing Cookbooks at 7:00.

We got some Coffee and sat down to wait for our color to be called.

They called out colors like you would a boarding pass at the airport.
"Everyone with a Red Wristband can now line up" And then there was a mad dash to stand, or shall I say sit in line.
And sit we did, we were in the back of the store so we got to look at the books on depression for several hours, awesome. The only thing the made the wait bearable was the great people we met in line like Nancy,a nurse from Sulphur Springs who was there getting books signed for all of her employees, what a great gift.
After several hours I started getting sleepy, it was getting late and my bedtime is 9:00.
But wait, there's a glimmer of hope.
We're getting closer, I can finally see Ree just ahead.

And then it was my turn, it was over in a flash. Ree did say that I can turn on a pose like a Stepford Wife, years of practice on my part.

But I got what I was after my signed Cookbook.

And a really cute t-shirt that you can only get at her book signing.

Maybe for her next book signing I'll be more prepared and have taught myself to knit by then, so I can make her a scarf while I wait in line.
