For Christmas Dottie has decided to give herself the gift of Botox, it’s the gift that keeps on giving. I decide to tag along with her, I wanted to see how bad it hurt's and what the end results are.

I have thought about Botox before, but have never known anyone that got the injections, or shall I say that admitted to it.

Botulinum toxin is held to be the most toxic substance known to mankind. And we are willing to inject this poison directly into our face to temporarily paralyze the nerve so that you can not get make expressions that lead to wrinkles.

So here we go. If you are squeamish I suggest you look away, there are allot of close-up needle shots, I wanted the full effect.

The best part was that I was kneeling on the table with Dottie; that would have been a funny shot, I’m sure the nurse thought we were crazy, but she was a whole story within herself.

Let the games begin. Dottie will receive a total of 35 units on her forehead, between her eyebrows and her temples.

Before it started She said it doesn't hurt, I beg to differ. Unless you clench your hands and click your feet for joy I think this falls under the Sweet Jesus category or pain.

This was a bad one. We had to stop for a minute, ouch!

And don't forget the bleeding, she has to apply pressure to stop the bleeding from all of the needle sticks.

The needle that they use around the eyes is very tiny and this doesn’t seem to hurt as much.

It's all over with, Dottie doesn't look happy at all, but at least her face doesn't move.
Mission accomplished.

It takes about a week to start seeing the results and 3 weeks for the full results. I would say that I am a true believer in Botox, and I’m planning on going for a session in March.
